Health and Well-being
At Child Aid Papua, the health and well-being of our students are our top priorities. Our school clinic provides a safe space where prevention and care go hand in hand. We equip students with essential knowledge on hygiene, sexual education, and vaccinations, while fostering an awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
In regions like West Papua, diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis, leprosy, and scabies are prevalent. We take these challenges seriously as they directly impact the academic success and personal development of our children and youth. Our health programs offer not only immediate assistance in the event of illness or injury, but also focus on promoting long-term health – the foundation for successful education and a self-determined future.
To continue providing essential medicines, hygiene supplies, and preventative screenings like malaria and HIV tests, we rely on generous donations.
